Our Promise To You

The team at American Rural Fiber will always

  • Work hard to deserve your trust.
  • Provide your co-op with the highest-quality fiber at the lowest possible cost.
  • Deliver the best service you have ever experienced.

Your success is our top priority. You have our word.

Our Products

As a nationwide Superior Essex distributor, we have the Outside Plant and Premises fiber optic cable your co-op needs to build a reliable network.

Loose Tube Designs

Our loose tube products offer fiber counts ranging from 2 to 432 fibers. The constructions are offered with dry or gel filled flexible buffer tubes and are stranded using a reverse oscillating lay. This stranding method allows installation technicians to access the lay midpoint to aid in splicing. The combinations of multiple jackets and shielding options allow the cables to be installed in underground conduit, lashed aerially, or direct buried.

Ribbon Designs

Ribbon cables utilize 12 or 24 fiber ribbons that are arranged within a single protective buffer tube. This results in a higher fiber density than traditional loose tube designs. The fiber counts range from 12 to 864 fibers, and the use of ribbon arrays allows for mass fusion splicing. Our ribbon fiber products are offered in armored or all-dielectric configurations, which provides our clients with a wide variety of installation options.

Drop Cable Designs

The transition to end users is accomplished through a variety of drop cable designs. Drop cable fiber counts range from 1 to 24 fibers and are available in a wide array of jacket configurations. The cable designs can be armored, all-dielectric, or contain toning elements.
